We are seeking an upbeat, positive person to jump into the role of Operations Assistant head first. Due to the nature of small retail, things evolve and change from day to day, so a candidate with flexibility is crucial. The knowledge that each day will be different and the ability to pivot and readjust quickly, depending on the obstacles at hand, will ensure the long-term success and future with the company. Due to this, a highly organized person that is dependable is desired for this role.

This position will start off as a part-time to part-time-plus position that could possibly morph into a full-time position down the road. The role of Operations Assistant will serve as a role that is supportive to the owner of the company, as well as the general manager.  

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assistance with marketing via social media, strategy, email campaigns, text campaigns, print marketing, promo events, trunk shows, new initiatives and all other events that are associated with MARKET
  • Assistance with blog posts for the brand

  • Assistance with inventory, using the Shopify platform, including back-end data entry, inventory check-in, label/sticker printing, inventory management, website management, website reformatting and all components associated with managing, organizing and running website.

  • Photography (good photo skills are important)
  • Assistance with purchasing for the shop, both for operational equipment and supplies as well as inventory as a directive from owner and manager
  • Assistance with sales floor from time to time
  • Returns and damage claims

We have an immediate opening for an Entry-level Administrative Assistant. We are seeking an ambitious individual who is truly seeking to enter a supportive role to our company as an administrative assistant and interested in the potential to grow within our company.

  • Work directly with Designers and clients
  • Emails, Phone Calls, & Client Relations
  • Ordering: furniture, fixtures, finishes, art, draperies, materials, and more
  • External Communication: with vendors, delivery personnel, customer service reps
  • Coordinate deliveries with warehouse staff
  • Create, Send and Manage Purchase Orders to vendors and suppliers
  • Pricing and ordering furniture/fabrics
  • Create Contracts, Proposals, and Invoicing Clients
  • Presentation boards design on Publisher and Canva
  • Coordination with vendors, contractors and purchasing agents throughout the design and specification process to ensure that projects are adhering to outlined project schedules and budgets.

MARKET is looking for a handyman! We are looking for someone that is not afraid to do some heavy lifting! Do you love and have a passion for moving furniture?! Then MARKET is for you! We specifically need someone with a vehicle that can haul large amounts of cardboard, packaging, and pallets. Further assistance is needed for occasionally putting together shelving and furniture, and moving furniture.  Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and not afraid to get dirty.
